992.1 GT3 RS MR – Monochrome

This awe-inspiring monochromatic 992 GT3 RS MR build was commissioned as the 2nd 992 RS MR for a client, planning to keep one in the UK and one in mainland Europe for added convenience when it came to European trackdays.

This specific build featured the Champion Motorsport MR rear camera upgrade, which involves replacing the rearview mirror with a new one with a built-in screen to allow a linked camera (mounted just below the rear shark fin) to show a permanent image of what’s behind the MR. Meaning that the practicality lost by removing the rear window is made up for!

This MR build was completed in record time due to a short deadline, as the client needed the car ready to drive to and use on our Spa trackday. This meant we had two technicians working simultaneously to make sure that the build was completed. Fortunately, our extremely talented Manthey certified technicians, Ricky and Steve, were able to complete the build a day ahead of schedule!
