Senior Technician

RPM Technik is an established independent Porsche specialist located on the border of Herts, Beds and Bucks. RPM Technik has been maintaining both modern and classic Porsche since 2001, with our state-of-the-art workshop boasting all necessary specialist tools and equipment, including the very latest Porsche diagnostic software. As a company specialising in maintaining and upgrading Porsche, RPM Technik is perfectly positioned to offer a wide range of carefully selected used vehicles for sale.

The sales department has worked hard to grow its reputation for honesty, quality and fair dealing, resulting in a wealth of repeat business and an ever-growing customer database of cars to call upon if the perfect Porsche isn’t in stock when needed.

Customer service and attention to detail have been at the core of the growth of RPM Technik’s business. With over one hundred years of combined experience, our technical team are experts in all work aspects from project builds or restorations through to engine and transmission rebuilds.

We are currently looking for a senior technician to join our thriving workshop.

Duties to include:

  • Service, repair and maintenance of all Porsche models
  • Diagnose, fault find and research workshop/mechanical issues
  • Assisting other technicians with work where required
  • Participate in all workshop activities
  • To carry out any additional duties as required

Ideal applicant should have the following;

  • NVQ Level 3 qualified in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair essential
  • Minimum of 2 years Porsche specific previous experience
  • Previous experience in maintaining classic and modern Porsche vehicles
  • Technical knowledge of Porsche
  • A full and valid UK Driving Licence

Package: Salary – very competitive and dependent on experience

Start date: TBC

Hours: Monday – Friday 8:30am -5:30pm and 1 in 4 Saturdays 9:00am-1:00pm

Sales and Marketing Coordinator

RPM Technik, one of the UK’s leading Porsche specialists has an exciting opening it its busy sales and marketing department. The sales department has worked hard to grow its reputation for honesty, quality and fair dealing, resulting in a wealth of repeat business and an ever-growing customer database.

The role requires an exceptionally well organised and efficient candidate who is at home both working under their own initiative or in a team supporting both the Sales Director and Commercial Director. The job role primarily involves sales support in every aspect from invoicing, marketing, photography, social media, liaising with customers and subcontractors through to enquiry management. On a day to day level the job would include meeting with new customers, arranging sales appointments for the Sales Director, monitoring and reply to emails in a professional and eloquent manner, photography of new stock, management of social media accounts, invoicing of car sales and management of post-sale activities for each car sold.

There will be an aspect of new business marketing included in the role depending on previous experience. Prior motor trade experience would be useful but not in no way essential, a valid UK driving license is essential.
