At the start of September, we were thrilled to support a very special track event at the Anglesey Circuit in North Wales, partnering with Porsche Club GB and RMA Track Days. With its sweeping corners, wonderful elevation changes, big braking zones and unrivalled coastal views, Anglesey is a bucket-list venue for any track driving enthusiast. There is no other UK circuit quite like it. What better way to enjoy it than alongside a line-up of entirely GT Porsches?

The paddock was a Porsche fan’s dream. From the iconic and original 996 GT3 through to the latest 992 GT3 RS, every generation of GT car was represented. Hearing the collection of flat-six engines fire up in the pit lane and seeing the wide variety of specs, liveries, and setups in one place made for a truly special occasion!

Sunday Evening – Community & Conversation

The weekend kicked off with a relaxed Sunday evening dinner at a beautiful coastal hotel nearby. Attendees gathered over excellent food and drinks, sharing stories of their cars, track experiences, and future plans. The evening wasn’t just about the social side, though; guests were treated to a live Q&A session with none other than Tim Harvey, Carrera Cup champion, British Touring Car Champion and general Porsche racing legend. Tim shared insights from his career, tales from the paddocks, and a few tips for getting the most out of a GT Porsche on track. It set the perfect tone for the day ahead.

Out on the Track – Perfect Conditions

Despite some early concerns about the weather (this is Wales, after all!), Monday dawned clear and dry, giving drivers ideal conditions to push their cars and the track to the limit. Remarkably, the day ran without a single flag, a real testament to both the high standard of driving and the professionalism of the organisers. The result? Maximum track time for every participant and smiles all round.

Adding to the excitement, Tim Harvey took to the wheel to offer hot laps in exchange for charitable donations, raising money in aid of Breast Cancer Now. Passengers lucky enough to join him described it as an unforgettable experience riding alongside a true pro while supporting a fantastic cause.

RPM Support – Keeping Cars at Their Best

As always, the RPM Technik team was on hand throughout the day to ensure every GT Porsche was performing at its best. From tyre pressure checks and adjustments to wheel rotations and technical advice, our crew worked closely with attendees to maximise performance and keep cars safe and consistent on track. For many, that support meant they could focus purely on enjoying the day and learning more about their cars’ capabilities.

A Day to Remember

Events like this are what the Porsche community is all about: bringing people together, celebrating the cars we love, and creating memories both on and off the circuit. Huge thanks go to Porsche Club GB, RMA, Tim Harvey, and of course, all the attendees who made it such a brilliant occasion!

We’re already looking forward to the next GT-only track day, as this has turned out to be such a roaring success!
