991.1 GT3 RS MR

Originally supplied by Porsche Centre Edinburgh in 2015 this Lava Orange 991.1 GT3 RS has been worked on by RPM Technik since 2023.

The most recent Manthey upgrade for this GT3 RS was the addition of the full MR aero kit. The 991.1 MR kit features canards for optimised front-end downforce, a gurney flap on the rear wing and the iconic Manthey carbon aerodisc.

But not all the upgrades are readily apparent, the kit also comes with Manthey coilovers with 4-way adjustable shock absorbers and aluminium shock bodies, a redesigned underbody and diffuser for enhanced airflow below the car, braided brake lines and uprated Manthey brake pads. We are currently using this GT3 RS MR to test the Pagid RSC 1 brake pads, so it isn’t currently running the Manthey set. This Manthey kit like all Manthey products was added to the Porsche whilst maintaining the official Porsche warranty.

Alongside the Manthey conversion the GT3 RS had also been fitted with Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2R tyres for maximised performance potential. Between the aerodynamic upgrades from the Manthey kit and the impressive grip from the Cup 2R tyres this 991.1 GT3 RS MR has been setting consistent new personal bests around the Silverstone Grand Prix circuit which just proves the real-world benefits of these track optimised upgrades.
