What documentation do you need?

We will need a minimum of the v5, two keys, Porsche stamped service booklet, MOT and ideally as many service receipts as you have for your Porsche

My Porsche is on a private plate, how will that work?

If you can retain your private plate using the DVLA online portal, you will reveive a new V5 back in a few days time with its original registration number on it.

My Porsche has finance outstanding, how do I settle this?

When we purchase your Porsche, we will require a settlement letter from your finance providor dated within the last week. Upon purchase we will pay off your finance and send you the difference.

What happens if I have negative equity on my Porsche finance?

Once we have inspected your Porsche, you will need to make the negative equity payment to RPM Technik and we will in turn settle off your finance.

What are you looking for when you inspect my Porsche?

We are pragmatic that these are used Porsches, any will accept up to £200 of unknown preparation. If there is anything further required once inspected we will notify you and chat it over together like adults!

Is there any reason the valuation could change?

Yes, once we have inspected it if there is any preparation that wasn’t disclosed this will adjust the price of your Porsche.

Is there a reason you wouldn’t buy my Porsche?

Yes. If the Porsche has been accident damaged, is an insurance write off or the mileage has been tampered with. Also if the Porsche was not as described.

What ID do you need from me?

We naturally need to ensure that you are the owner of the Porsche and have authority to sell it. So we’ll need a copy of your drivers license, a utility bill with the last 3 months and the V5 ownership document all to match. If for any reason they don’t, please let us know to discuss.

My Porsche has a known fault, what do I do?

We appreciate honesty from the outset, so if your Porsche has a fault please let us know from the outset. We use Porsches PIWIS4 diagnostic software on inspection and can ascertain any issues via that. It doesn’t preclude us buying your Porsche, we can factor it into the figures.

My Porsche is due a service does that matter?

I understand selling my Porsche outright, but how does Sale or Return work?

Contact Greig by phone, email, or social media with as much information about your Porsche as possible. Greig will aim to return your call within 24 hours.
The sales team like to understand the ownership history of each vehicle, how it has been cared for, the specification of the vehicle and any other pertinent information to help determine an accurate retail sales price for the car.
Greig will give you a written appraisal of the market for your car, along with pricing logic based on his two decades of industry experience. Correctly pricing and marketing your Porsche is essential for a successful sale.
A mutually acceptable date is chosen to bring your car in, meet with the team and view the facility. The car is then left at RPM Technik for the ‘RPM Technik Approved’ inspection and paperwork review.
Following a successful inspection & review, your Porsche is prepared by the in-house detailing team to ensure the car is ready for professional photography. Once completed the car will be listed across eight different advertising mediums to sell your Porsche.
Greig will keep you updated on enquiries and pricing, culminating in the eventual sale of your Porsche.
Post-sale, a written breakdown of the sale transaction is provided for full transparency and the funds are electronically transferred to the nominated account.
