The First GT3 with a Weissach Package
For the first time in the model’s history, the 992.2 GT3 can be specified with the Weissach Package, previously exclusive to RS variants. This lightweight upgrade includes:
- Carbon roof
- Carbon bonnet
- Carbon rear wing
- Carbon roll cage
- Optional lightweight magnesium wheels
Together, the components trim approximately 20kg from the GT3’s weight. Crucially, the magnesium wheels dramatically reduce unsprung mass, enhancing steering precision and suspension response. Building upon this, the Manthey package amplifies track performance even further.

What’s Included in the 992.2 Manthey kit?
4-Way Adjustable Manthey Coilovers
Manthey’s iconic green coilovers are fully aluminium and offer 4-way adjustability, allowing the suspension to be tailored precisely to the driver and circuit. Spring rates are also rebalanced:
+20% front stiffness
-7% rear stiffness
The result is improved stability and sharper turn-in without compromising balance.
Extended Front Lip and Aerodynamic Flaps
The front lip is extended by 12mm, working harmoniously with the redesigned underbody to increase front-end downforce. Bumper-side flaps carried over from the 992.1 MR kit further stabilise the front axle at high speed.
Revised and Extended Underbody
Manthey’s underbody rework features extended panels and strategically placed fins to guide airflow more effectively beneath the GT3.
The improvements reduce turbulence and increase the volume of air delivered to the diffuser, boosting rear downforce significantly.
Rear Diffuser with Enlarged Carbon Fins
The new rear diffuser is both wider and deeper, closely echoing the design philosophy of the GT3 RS. Carbon fins keep the enlarged diffuser lightweight while delivering substantial aerodynamic gains and, of course, a more aggressive aesthetic.
Fully Redesigned Carbon Rear Wing
One of the most visually striking updates, the new Manthey rear wing includes an integrated gurney flap and inward-tapered endplates for improved airflow control.
This design generates more stable and predictable downforce across a variety of speeds.
Manthey Carbon Aero Discs
A signature Manthey feature, the carbon aero discs smooth airflow across the wheels and side profile. For the 992.2 GT3 MR, they are available in the largest size offered outside the RS platforms.
New Optional Carbon Kit
A new addition for the 992.2 GT3 MR is the optional carbon package, offering carbon bonnet vents and a full carbon rear decklid replacing the standard plastic component.
This brings both visual drama a la GT2 RS, and subtle weight savings.
Manthey Lightweight Wheels
Manthey’s newly developed lightweight wheels shed 6kg compared to standard GT3 wheels. Their hollowed-out design highlights the engineering focus on reducing rotational and unsprung mass.
Enhanced Interior and Auxiliary Upgrades
To complete the transformation, Manthey now include a range of interior enhancements, such as illuminated carbon “Manthey” spellout door sills, LED door projectors and a new Manthey centre-console badge.
