Porsche 964 RS
Colour: Guards Red
Interior: RS buckets
Guards red, Black leather bucket seats, 5 speed manual, M003 RS Lightweight.
Supplied new to Porsche Centre Zentrum on the 26th of June 1992, at the time this iconic 911 was the latest lightweight 911 to wear the RS badge. Produced between 1992 and 1994 the 964 RS was designed to give the purest driving experience, this meant it went without electric windows, electric seats, air conditioning and a substantial amount of sound deadening was removed. This left the car weighing around 1230kg. The engine ran a different ECU to the C2 giving a modest power hike to 260bhp. The gearbox had closer ratios further aiding to acceleration and lighter flywheel fitted to extract the best out of the 3.6 flatsix.
The car we have here was originally owned in Germany until around 2003 where it then resided in France. While in France is was maintained by A M S who are a specialist just outside Paris. In July 2019, the car was imported into the UK with our assistance, and is now fully road registered on a UK v5. Since being in the UK we have completed UK compliance checks along with a full service including spark plugs, brake refresh, x4 tyres and a geometry setup. Whilst some RS have seen little to no use, this example has been used as Porsche intended but crucially it has been maintained properly. The body shows no signs of rust but does have stone chips, given it hasn’t lived in a museum! This RS Lightweight also has the option of 17” magnesium wheels at separate negotiation.
We are delighted to have this RS in stock with us and look forward to handing the keys onto the next owner for them to enjoy. Finance available and part exchange welcomed.
