Porsche 997.1 CSR – CSR028

We are delighted to bring to sale the ultimate CSR. Chassis number CSR-28, or ‘Snakebite’ as it is affectionately known, has been built to the highest standards with no expense spared in every detail. In 2005 this car left the factory as one of many Arctic Silver 997.1 C2S models and was transformed in 2018, covering just 10,000 miles since its build. Spec as below:

Exterior

• Bare metal colour change to Porsche ‘Brewster Green’ (including a total strip down, refresh and re-assembly)
• CSR Carbon Fibre Ducktail and front/rear bumper upgrades

Interior

• Full interior re-trim in Porsche Dark Green green leather and Porsche 50th anniversary spec houndstooth with light gold stitching (Dash board, lower dashboard, door cards, centre console front and rear, centre storage binnacle, headliner including A/B/C pillars, carpets and over mats)
• Retro stitched rear parcel shelf
• Heated CS folding buckets and modified seat running gear

Engine

• Fully rebuilt and blueprinted 3.8 C2S engine (chains, runners, gaskets etc all new)
• New liners
• Ported and gas flowed heads
• Polished and balanced crankshaft
• Balanced con rods
• Motorsport pistons and rings
• CSR centre exit exhaust system and bespoke bumper arrangement
• Engine has only covered approximately 2,000 miles since build.

Transmission

• CSR mechanical LSD (the only aftermarket mechanical diff available for 997 Gen1 & Gen2) This diff can be adjusted to suit customer requirements in clamping pressures and ramp angles.
• CSR lightweight clutch and flywheel

Suspension

• CSR KW V3 kit with front HLS (Axle lift) system
• Adjustable lightweight ARB’s
• Adjustable lower arms
• Poly bushed suspension components
• CSR geometry set-up and corner weighting

Braking

• CSR Road brake upgrade package

The car has been used solely on the road for road trips and special occasions, It has received critical acclaim (see online reviews such as the youtube video on Henry Catchpole’s ‘Carfection’ channel). Fully documented build with all invoices for works supplied with the car (total just under £130,000). RPM Technik approved detailing and the RPM Technik approved warranty. Finance also available.
