Porsche Restoration & Projects
Restore or Design Your Ultimate Porsche with RPM Technik
RPM Technik has been building bespoke Porsche’s and restoring them to factory originality since the inception of the business back in 2001. The Special Projects department is headed by Technical Director Ollie Preston. Ollie has vast experience with both air-cooled and water-cooled Porsche in both road going trims and full-on motorsport examples. His innovative approach to builds utilises the extensive knowledge pool of several veteran in-house Porsche techs. With an open mind to new ideas and technologies, the bespoke projects are constantly evolving. Experienced gained in race support over the weekends has enabled Ollie to amalgamate the best Motorsport has to offer and sanitise it into everyday usability.
The RPM Technik Special Projects department is comprised of five build technicians, an engine master technician, gearbox master technician, a bodywork specialist and two mechanical restoration/fabrication specialists. The retention of skills to in-house technicians allows RPM Technik to turn projects around promptly and to an extremely high level of finish/quality. There are separate workshops for stripdown, fabrication and rebuilds. The rebuild room can accommodate four concurrent builds and is kept as spotlessly clean as is feasible in a workshop environment. Each build process is meticulously documented and photographed to keep every customer updated throughout the build, and to create a build file showcasing the detail and effort which has been put into the car.
Visitors to RPM Technik can see projects in various stages of build and it is often the highlight of the premises tour that new customers get the first time they come down to RPM.
We have a photo gallery below of recently built cars and a separate gallery of cars that are currently in build. We undertake projects of all sizes and complexities so please contact us on 01296 663 824 to discuss how we may be able to help you.
